Winn Nursery was establish in 1885 by A.C. Winn. In 1920 his son Wirt L. Winn opened a new office and nursery on Granby Street in Norfolk where he and his two sons, Wendall and Bill worked for years. Upon their retirement Barclay and Carter Winn took over the company. In 1996 they moved the nursery to 1201 Liberty Street in Norfolk. In 2024 Clay, Wendall and Jimmy took over the operations.

We have a great location in the Historical Berkley section of Norfolk with easy access just off of I-464 and Poindexter Street

Carrying on the legacy with good service is still our main focus.

From Hampton Roads to eastern North Carolina and into Northern Virginia, Winn Nursery has completed hundreds of projects over the years. Recent landscaping projects include the Norfolk Premium Outlets, the Rivers Casino in Portsmouth, and numerous residential landscapes throughout the area.
